Saw blade has large, aggressive 5.5mm pitch, a thicker 1.8mm blade thickness, and laser impulse hardened teeth designed especially for arborists and professionals who require reliable, high speed pruning of various hardwoods.

Mounting Options:

Connect to Barnel poles Z555P, Z555P2, or Z555P3 with no adapter necessary
Customer self-install with custom adapter. We are unable to guarantee designed operation when used with a custom mount.
Use Z655PO Adapter with customer-provided round male pole (with outside diameter 29 mm = 1 1/8")
Use Z655PO Adapter with customer-provided round female pole (with inside diameter 32mm = 1 1/4")

Strong and fast saw

I already had a z555 saw head and a Barnel pole. Both work really well. The z555 is light, but can tend to flex on the push-stroke if the tree branch tightens on it. I bought this z558 because it is thicker. As I hoped, it flexes less than the z555. The trade-off is that the z558 is a little bit heavier. Both of them have their uses, and I'm glad I have each of them.
Bought a replacement just in case

I have a Z555P and bought a saw blade with it. I never left a review so Im leaving one here lol. Product is good and blade is sharp. Buying an extra because I think Ill need it eventually. rather get ahead of the game.
